What is SEO? (Search Engine Optimization)
SEO is an organic form of Digital Marketing, that allows the use of special keywords to be picked up by search engines like Google or Bing. This causes your website or social media to appear more frequently on Search Engines, or Social Media Platforms!

Where to start?
The best way to start is by writing down keywords in your industry. For example, if you sell jewelry, you'll want to use words like "Rings", "Bracelets", "Necklaces", in your posts and on your website, this way it's picked up by Search engines and Social Media.

In the image above I typed in Necklace on Bing, the sentences below it are the most popular search terms for that word. Use the words in your industry to find out what sentences people in your industry are using, then write them down into a document. I prefer to use Google Sheets for SEO, as shown in the image below, which I used to find SEO for Printable Templates.

Where do I put SEO?
On a website, just make sure to use these special keywords in the descriptions of your items. Some website creators like Wix & Hostinger also have an SEO page that is invisible to guests. For Social Media, or sites like Etsy, put them in the description, at the bottom and under anything explaining the item, this way it's not in the way.
